Another important aspect of HARBOR Unlimited is our Speaker Series (called Beacon of Light). Beacon of Light is held twice yearly and consists of 3 monthly meetings each. As a nonprofit organization helping families living with various abilities, Beacon of Light provides resources and information that impacts families and the community.

2020 Schedule
Events are the first Thursday of the month. Each month during the series, we invite 3 community experts to discuss a common topic that is important to our families and the community. Each speaker talks 30-45 minutes and then answers questions. Topics will vary each month. Fall of 2020 Speaker Series events will occur virtually. The normal run time is 6:30pm-9:00pm
February - Finances - Trusts, Wills, Guardianship
March – Autism
April - Disability Employment (postponed)
September 3rd – Disability Employment
October 1st – Behavioral Solutions
November 5th – Assisted Technology
